Today's Country Tidbits

How popular is Taylor Swift? The video for "Back to December" was posted on YouTube yesterday and as of 6am today already had nearly 700,000 hits.

Miranda Lambert's truly on a roll. She's nominated for three Grammys and is going to be one of the performers on the show. The Grammy Awards air February 13th on CBS.

Faith Hill was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night, chatting about her new Teleflora deal, the charity work she's been doing with Tide Loads of Hope, and also about hubby Tim McGraw's movie, "Country Strong." Somehow she found time to do a little bit of snowman-tackling, too.

Lady Antebellum has been invited to headline the annual Dustin J. Wells Foundation Gift of Music concert February 18th at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Proceeds from this show benefit the W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, and past performers at this benefit include Rascal Flatts and Dolly Parton. Tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 10 Central time and range from $49 to $1,000 per person. Call 615-902-8200 to order.

Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann, two of Nashville's hottest newcomers in 2010, are headed to college towns all across America for their "Higher Education Tour." They'll kick it off in Columbia, MO on March 10th, and so far have announced the dates for 12 shows, with plans for more.

The tweet of the day is from Jaron and the Long Road to Love: "What is it called when you wake up with a hangover, but you didn't drink the night before? Just a headache?"
