Today's Country Tidbits

Not every guitar that got caught in the flood in Nashville will be scrapped. Keith Urban's first American guitar is being restored, and Keith will keep it, whether or not it sounds good after the restoration. “I managed to salvage out of the water and I’m having it rebuilt. I don’t know if it’s going to sound very good but it’s one of those things to me, even if it had to go up on the wall, I would never part with this guitar. So I don’t know if it’s priceless to me, but it’s certainly near and dear to me.” By the way, Keith's been in the studio for the past seven weeks, recording the follow-up to "Defying Gravity." and unlike most artists, he lays his vocals down while sitting down.
