When did Darius Rucker decided he needed to make country records, not pop records? In 1992, when Radney Foster's "Del Rio, Texas 1959" came out. Darius says his old band, Hootie & the Blowfish, will attest to the fact that he played that album every day for three years. Says Darius, ". This Friday night, the sequel to "Pure Country" will debut. Entitled "Pure Country 2 - The Gift," it features Katrina Elam in the starring role. George Strait is also in this sequel, though his role is much smaller this time around.
