When did Darius Rucker decided he needed to make country records, not pop records? In 1992, when Radney Foster's "Del Rio, Texas 1959" came out. Darius says his old band, Hootie & the Blowfish, will attest to the fact that he played that album every day for three years. Says Darius, ". It was at that point where I didn't want to make a country record someday, I had to." Today, check out Darius' nod to Radney's genius, "Charleston, SC 1966." It's Darius Rucker's second country cd, and features a duet with Brad Paisley. Here he is doing "Things I'd Never Do" on Good Morning America.
