Congratulations to Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, who have a new daughter. The child is biologically theirs, but was carried by a gestational surrogate mother. Faith Margaret Kidman Urban was born on December 28th in Nashville. In a statement, Keith says, "Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier." Faith is little sister to Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, who will be three in July.
The ACM Awards are adding something new this year - a fan jam. The ACM Fan Jam will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas at the same time as the awards show is being broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden. Artists will be part of both shows, performing a few songs for the fans as well as appearing at the ACM Awards. Sounds like a logistical nightmare for the artists but like a lot of fun for the fans! If you'd like to be there, here's the scoop - there's a ticket pre-sale for ACM A-Listers tomorrow (Jan. 19) from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Pacific Time at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $35 and $55, and the pre-sale code is SPADE. After 10, remaining tickets will be available to the general public. The pre-sale for the ACM Awards and the "Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country" show is also tomorrow at 8am Pacific at ticketmaster.com, and the code for those is also SPADE. You'll be needing a place to stay, so call 877-632-7000 and use the code EACMAC at the Mandalay Bay hotel for any rooms they have left.
