Today's Country Tidbits

Shania Twain is engaged. The official word came out yesterday afternoon, after rumors had been swirling. Apparently Shania has been engaged for a couple of months, and she's sporting a 3 carad diamond solitaire ring. The marriage to Mutt Lange broke up because Mutt became involved with Marie-Anne Thiebaud, Shania's former best friend. Now Shania is engaged to Marie-Anne's former husband, Frederic Thiebaud. Sounds like the premise for a movie or a soap opera, doesn't it?

Gloriana wants to sing you a Merry Christmas, using Casio guitars and a bossa nova beat.

Jack Ingram's Acoustic Motel series goes Christmas, and he has to get a little help with the lyrics!
